NEED HELP.......to I.D. coin

I found this coin in my yard..... it's the same size and color as a penny but says...."The old government whiskey"? and on the other side is an 'N'? ? ? ? ? can anyone help me?

all I FOUND, The OLD GOVERNMENT WHISKEY, Wm. Wolff Co. Registered Brand, 1897. San Francisco. 1888 to 1910

You can click on the Wm. Wolff link and the Old Government Link. They don't show your coin, but they do show other advertisements for the company and the era. I believe it also tells you who supplied the information. I hope this helps. SnowQueen

Thank you that's been a big help, I live about 100 miles north of San Francisco ...... I've also found an I.W.Harper gold medal replica ..... given out at the World's Columbia Expo I think 1893 in Chicago...This is a great site , I'm glad I joined,,,,, thanks again Suzanne Tuttle

YEA DEFINETELY AN ADVERTISING COIN. MY FRIEND FOUND A SALT COMPANY TOKEN ONCE AND IT WAS WORTH ABOUT $10 . CHECK EBAY?? UNDER TOKENS.

Whiskey is spelled wrong on the first coin listed I think its probably a name not the drink. "WHISKY"
