Hello all

I did some garage sailing over the weekend. I bought a box of foreign coins for a dollar. made some interesting finds. A couple of which I can't seem to find in the world coin atlas. The first one is a 1 franc coin from 1942 the lists 1941 and 1943 with no mention of 1942. the second is 2 coins from the ostereich republic a 2 groschen and a 50 groschen again no mention in the guide book. now I not thinking the franc is worth a whole heck of alot but the intrigue is worth the dollar. thanks for any help.

If the French coin has a double-bladed axe on one side and looks aluminum then you've got a coin from the Vichy French State during WWII. Value: 25?-$1.50

The other two coins are from Austria. Can't tell you any value since you didn't list the years.

you might check ebay for info. I have one of these, and found one like it on ebay listing at 3.50
