Need help with ID

Found this a few days ago it say W.E. Co 1893 any ideas? It has a hole at the top if that helps.

Maybe part of an electrical apparatus made by Westinghouse Electric Co. In 1893 they provided AC power to the Worlds Colombian Exposition at Chicago.

it looks like an extra long innertube valve and the hole in the top is so you can put a pin or something like that to let the pressure out of the innertube
