Need Help with Pin ID

Need some help with this pin and maybe year.It's got "Balt Public" One word unreadable except for the last few letters which are "ETIC" Then "League III"

Thanks for any help it's about the size of a penny. Can tell it's a pin from the back missing the pin itself

I think its the PUBLIC ATHLETIC LEAGUE of BALTimore and goes back into the 1800's. I think it was a charity to support parks and recreations. Im still searching.

Makes sense Baltimore is 2 hours away. Now got to see if I can find how old it is. Same site produced a King George II Coin and V Nickel today.

I read it as MCMVIII (1908)
