One friend had found these drawings by chance, and wondering what they really mean?

The place where these founds where found, where just next to an ancient fort, that was built in Roman ages, and after that so many other cultures and civilizations took a place, starting from Nomends, Berbers, Muslims, and Finally Italians in the second world war.
