need help

Going to Sara Sota Fla. for vacation next month. I need tips on beach detecting and would like to buy a scoop that works for sand. I need to know what works for finding jewelry the upper tide level or at low tide or towel line.Got a $300.00 radio shack brand detector for Christmas that the sen. can be dialed down.Please any info too help the newbie.

Google RTG Sandscoop. Stay in the dry sand and you will do great. The wet sand will cause your machine to snap, crackle and pop. Big Gold!

I went with this one below. It works great in dry beach sand. Breaks down in 3 pieces for easy packing on trips and is reasonably priced. Call one of our forum sponsors like Big Boys Hobbies (405) 206-9010 they can get you a better deal than you usually see online.
