if you have any one you know that can crush it and fire asset it you at least find out if it's of any value as in gold silver or platinum . It looks very interesting and I have seen gold specimens that look some what like that from samples of Australia .After cracking a rock open this was inside. what is it .....................any ideas

I would test first with nitric acid , see if the yellow is still present , the rock will bubble and eat a little up but nitric acid will not do any thing to the yellow if it's gold , ( pure )Hi Jair I found it about 80km away from Port Elizabeth, South Africa What would you say about this one ?
any gold found is nice no matter how much . Star with any detector . My first was a bounty hunter I still have . I got a new GMT whites . Very good but cost $ 800.Thanks a lot "jair" I will do that this coming weekend and then i will let you know what the results are, i am also going to send it for lab testing for "Au" I am also looking out to buy a Gold metal detector. The"Garrett AT Gold" looks good or what would you say? The very first rock (after taking interest in finding gold) i send for lab testing and it came back 0.14 g/t Au. The geologist told me that this is very little gold but what is very interesting for him is that is that i did find gold in that area .

It's not quite as sharp of a picture when I enlarge it but it looks like it has gild in the quarts if I'm seeing it right . If you have some nitric acid and careful , add some on to the quarts pice and see if what looks like gold stays and brightens in color . Don't breath any of the gasses coming of the rock from the nitric acid and rinse when your reddy to inspect it . It's still from out of a hydro thermal vein . I can tell by the color and the formation of the rock . Watch for these rocks and when you find them check the areas around it . For the source or other rocks .CRUSH GRIND PAN that one... the first one looked to have Pyrite in it but this one is SWEET!
