NEED HELP

[oldrailroader]

I'm looking at an auction on ebay.It is a French Artillery sword.I don't know how to send pictures but can give auction number.
It's 301187051150.I've asked the guy several questions but he can't answer them.I know these swords come with a blade length of close to 19 inches. This one is 17.5 inches. Were there swords with this blade length? Has the tip broken off and been reshaped? It has 1 day left and would like to get it so if somebody could help, within that time span,I'd greatly appreciate it.Thank-you in advance.

It could be a French Artillery Cadet's Gladius sword, which was modeled after the full size French model 1831 Artillery Gladius sword, which did have a 19" blade, the Cadet sword had a 18" blade the one you're looking at could of had the tip broken and resharpened.

All of the Model 1831 swords I have seen had maker's marks, but some of the Cadet swords didn't have the marks.
