need id of Marble found at old park

Hoping someone could id this marble? I found it at an old park and thought it was some kind of bead but it doesn't have any holes. Size comparison, it's about the same size of a pea.

Looks like a Bennington, probably late 1800's or early 1900's. They're called Benningtons because some people associated them with the pottery industry in Bennington, Vermont; however, most of them were actually imported from Germany. Most were brown or blue, but there were other colors, as well as multicolored "fancies."

right on.....another side note on these....they were believed to be made in germany and shipped to the us as ballast.....
