Metal Detecting
Mine is a DX-1 for Whites but I imagine they are all about the same. I bought one used without the instructions and just thought I would get a copy to keep. I didn't see a download for it on the Sunray site.

there are no instructions.

Once you decide where to mount
your Sunray Box & Probe,

You just thread the coil wire into the sunray box.

Thread the sunray box wire into the control box
of your detector.

And flick the toggle to left or right depending on
if you want to use the coil or the probe to detect.

Thanks. Is the probe sensitive in all directions or mainly just at the tip? Do you typically use it in normal mode or go to all metal?

Where do you get those tip protectors, the red thing on that pictured probe?

on my sovereign mainly at the tip.

On the Explorer it will detect all directions
with High sensitivity.

Depends on how powerfull your detector is

You can try a water bottle cap.

Or a plastic water pipe cap from Lowes or other Hardware
