Thanks Monkeyboy!! Ok, I have recently started using a dfx 300.....I also have never hunted or found any cw bullets. I am going on vacation next week to and area that had a cw camp. I am wandering what setting you use with the whites to fid them? Maybe what vdi I should look for.....and any other advice you may have to offer. Thanks!!!

I use an XLT and lead bullets ring up as " dime/penny ".

Ok... pretty easy... use the default relic program.. turn up the AC.. set the preamp gain to 3..lower the sweep sweep and decrease the sweep speed. That is the starting point. With the 12" coil.. you really can't go wrong.. and with relics.. pretty much dig any good signal.. if for no other reason to "learn: what it all sounds like... if you have a "rough" sounding signal that is deep.. but pinpoints well.. dig it!!
