I know this may not be the right place for this..But I'm looking for info on photo enhancement...Heres a couple pictures of pictographs I took The ones with my grankids in it I can make those out but the other side of the rock has more,I'm looking for a way to bring it out in the picture
One trick I use is to change the contrast & brightness until I get the best image possible. Then I switch it to negative image to bring out detail. Not very pretty but it works well for me in trying to read letters or see details on fade/worn relics.
Sometimes you can spray water (clean/distilled) on the subject to bring it out when taking your pictures. This should not harm pectographs (pecked into the rock), but I would be hesitant on doing it to any painted picturegraphs (painted on).
