This a bottle that my parents have and I am trying to find some info on it. I have not been able to find a match for this bottle or even for the bottle company. It has a circle slug that says Paul Rever Bottling Co. Rever, Mass. above that it says registered and below that it say contents 8 fluid ounces the 25-26. It also has a R on the bottom.

well, 8 ounce crown top soda bottles from the 30's to the 50's were pretty common. And small local bottlers were in small towns in all counties.

This type of bottle appears to be early machine-made from the interwar period, 1920's I would say given the slug plate embossing. Printed labels began to largely replace glass embossing by the 1930's as it was cheaper. No knowledge to the company.

Thanks for the date ranges! Very helpful!

It is a nice bottle! Bet your parents appreciate your seeking an ID on it

yes, the embossing as opposed to a printed label is a give away too.

1920's crown top, company was owned by M. Goldstein at 182 Hichborn St.
