I did find a 1969 Mercedes 280 hot wheels tonight. Missing the hood and wheels though :(

Could item #1 be a cleat off some vintage football shoes?

Good thinking Matt! I believe that perhaps both could be football cleats, of different styles of course. I can find examples of rubber and wooden cleats in the more rectangular design, maybe there were metal ones as well? Lot Detail - Scarce 1910s-1930s Football Cleats Collection (4 Pairs)

The round one could be an old cleat. No way the other one is though. Solid lead and very heavy. You wouldn't be able to run. If you had 5 or 6 of them on your shoes
