✅ SOLVED Need TN Expertise, Bronze Spigot found at Colonial Site

An interesting find today. It appears to be a bronze spigot that is old but I wouldn't think it would date back to the same era as all the other artifacts we have found at this site. Our estimation is the site is from 1760-1822 and then was wiped out by hurricane. Haven't found anything but modern shotgun shells and beer cans other than the colonial artifacts. I tried researching but bronze spigot on google is nothing but ads trying to sell me plumbing.

Anyone familiar with these?

It is missing the "key" that fits over the triangular piece. You couldn't get to the whisky unless you had the key. Gary
