Nevada hiway 50

We are rving hiway 50 thru nevada and the touring the Utah desert parks in late March. Any interesting detecting areas along 50 that would be of interest for gold or artifacts ? Thanks for any info.

Pick up Stan Pahers "Nevada Ghost Towns and Ming Camps" and a copy of "Rockhounding Nevada". Good Luck getting to Utah. There are so many spots along 50 that you could spend months exploring that stretch of road.

Berlin / Ichthyosaur State Park south of Austin is a must see.
