Never dug anything like this before

Went back to the site where my wife skunked me with the CSA button and found a strange piece of metal in the creek.
Could someone tell me if it's worth dragging out with me the next time I hike back in there to the site? The shape is very strange and it felt like it was cast iron but doesn't look like a stove piece.
Any information would be greatly appreciated. The item appears in the video at around 7 minutes but I do dig some cool stuff before it if you are interested.
