Never know where a ring may appear! (925 PC) What is PC?

I went to Goodwill yesterday with the intention of looking through some jewelry.
I didn't find anything while in the store!!! On the way back to the car I noticed an object on the ground...it looked silver...so I picked it up.
It was very heavy...so I thought this might be something. I got it home and pryed it apart...it had been mashed flat. On the inside it says
925 PC. I know that 925 is silver....but what is the PC? I have searched the internet and can't find a good answer......anyone out there know what the pc is?
It is a very heavy piece....probably a large men's ring.

I believe it is .925 silver with a platinum coating to ****** tarnish.
have seen .925 pt mark that is of this manufacture.

Regarding the '******' in my reply.
Tnet needs a program that disallows the word re-tard to be posted in proper context ?
I'd think that mods would be able to take care of this if it were to become an issue.
