Had some extra time off this week and got out a couple hours on Thurs, Fri and the better part of Saturday, Dec. 14. Raining today - so we're inside.

From Dec. 12 I dug what I thought was auto related and in watching RelicHuntingFlorida on YouTube today, my find was identified - Schrader Universal Valve.

On to Friday afternoon and my first stop was a median strip in Baltimore; this yielded modern coins but nothing old, so I headed north to Druid Hill Park and hunted a spot I hadn't spent much time at before. Not long in I got my first IHC, and 1892 IMG_7048.webp.
About 3 feet away came another, this one in much better shape IMG_7050.webp.

About 30 feet from the IHCs, a much lower tone on the Equinox (about a 14) turned out to be the front half of a copper/brass charm IMG_7051.webp.
In the field I could make out the horse shoe part but cleaning revealed the jockey's cap and the nails in the shoe, seven in all.

Back to Herring Run Park on Saturday and made mad clad money, over 12 dollars, that included these two dollar coins:
The first came from the same street corner where I dug two the week prior, same year, but D mint IMG_7053.webp.

A couple blocks south I got another dollar IMG_7054.webp.

Thanks for checking out the post![SUB][SUP]

Nice finds. Congrats

How come your Indians come out nicer than mine.:laughing7: But seriously, I did get out and got over 50 colonial bits and pieces but just haven't had the time to do anything with them. Maybe in a little while.

Well done my friend glad to see your getting the good stuff Happy Holidays to you and yours. Tommy

Great finds, Congrats!!!

Love those pennies. Congrats.

Congratualtions on the nice finds! :occasion14:

Our Susan B. Anthony coins don't look like they are going to last long in the dirt. Only minted 2 yrs. Another failed design by the mint. Actually, the dollar coin was supposed to have Lady Liberty instead of Anthony. It was changed at the last minute by...um, "politics". Here is what the dollar coin was supposed to be. Gary

that is way better looking

Congrats on the IHPs, they're in great condition. Hopefully you'll be able to get out next week. Looks like the weather will nice until Friday.

Druid Hill? There has to be treasure there!

Xcopperstax, there was 'treasure' there. It's a challenge now to pull much other than square nails. It is the nail graveyard; you can find some excellent specimens.

Thanks Jamie! Got back for 2 hours this afternoon and got a '35S Buff, 1918 wheat, 2-piece button with gilding both sides, and an incidental marble.

Thanks Washingtonian! The 1906 cleaned up well.
