Hello everyone, Just got a Bounty Hunter Quick Draw II for Christmas and am very excited to learn how to do this metal detecting stuff.....any hints for me to help get me started would be greatly appreciated....thanks all, Bill

Set up a detector test garden and practice . Bury different coins , pull tabs , iron , jewelry and aluminium foil at about 4 - 5 inch depths . Scan them to see how your detector reacts to the different metals . Now you know what to expect when out in the parks & fields when it beeps . Good luck & welcome to the site .
