Just finished some Coastal plain chert and Tallahatta Quartzite, ground some of the coastal into cab shapes before tumbling. 100_4743.webp100_4744.webp100_4745.webp100_4746.webp

I haven't done any rings but the cabs i wire wrap for necklaces.

Those are very pretty! "Cabs"? What does that mean? Also, where do these come from?

Those turned out great. The colors sure pop out. I have a batch done from Colorado discards I found at camps that were too nice to pass up. What a great variety!

Cabs or cabochon is the shape of the stone like the red and white piece. It is coastal plain chert and i find the pieces looking for arrowheads in Burke county, Georgia.
