Imo those are great finds, I never found a SLQ. I have no problem finding barbers tho.

If those aren't great finds then you will really be let down one of these days! I would be pumped if I came home with those finds!

We clearly define "great" differently! That's a lot of sweet history in your hand!

.... cuz the fields didnt produce much yet:BangHead: Did manage a SLQ and LC near the house ....

My heart is bleeding for you east-coaster. He goes out, and *only* finds *one* LC. So the site "didn't produce much" and "wasn't that good". Oh how horrible it must to go out detecting and *only* find one LC. Eh ? :crybaby2:

Agreed. It was a great day for most. You cant find early silver every hunt. Lol Ive been lucky to find some great sites the past couple years. Its not going to be easy to keep it up so I need to lower my expectations

I'd be stoked with what you found, pretty sweet

Nice finds. I really like finding a round ball with the sprue still present. Sometimes it’s good to take yourself down a few pegs and enjoy all the finds. I’ve done that several times myself and now enjoy my hunts more than ever.

I think the field is producing very well, congratulations! :occasion14:

Quite a nice earlySLQ ,having a portion of the date showing. And the rest of your hunt is nice too.So get permission for the yard area.

Actually my post printed twice sorry but I still love that SLQ,AND i hope you can hit the nearby yard.

'didnt produce much'?? I would be ecstatic to have that kind of day. Great Finds!!

Well I would be very satisfied with a day like you had, I’m still looking for my first old silver, congratulations

Definitely hunted out. I wouldn't go back there......where is it?

Congrats on some sweet keepers!

When you recover an SLQ, It's not a common thing to get one with a date. Especially a pre-1925. Congrats on all your finds . The 1920 SLQ really stands out.
