new detector, great results

Was out with my new Garrett ace today for the first time and came across my first wheatie, as well as a dime that looks to be smaller in size and thinner without the ruffled edges like the normal dimes, Im not sure why. Can anyone help me out? is this rare or just badly corroded? Thanks all

the last pic is of the wiered dime and a regular dime right next to eachother. see the diffrence?

I have detected dimes that were quite thin like yours, I guess the ground minerals breaks them down some in size

gotcha. okay, I wasnt sure if that was the case. ohh well, ill keep on hunting for the elusive RARE coin!
