New detector/new coins

I bought a used DFX from a friend. A 1991 machine that is like new. Got a good deal as it came with all kinds of accessories and three loops one of which is brand new.

Took it out that last three days to places that I detected before with my cheaper detector and found $2.80 in newer coins and a gold medal from the Michigan Band and Orchestra Assn. The area I am checking is a remote area near Lake Michigan. Now i just need to get into some old coin areas.

I have to give a shout out to White Detectors. I called them and asked if they had a DVD operation manual and they did and sent it o me at no cost.

Yep, those DFX's are good machines. Used one for several years. You get in a good old coin area and they will sniff them out for ya!!! HH
