New to metal detecting and just purchased a Bounty Hunter Platinum. Would appreciate your comments on machines performance. Am located 40 miles inland on upper Texas Gulf Coast
Wish I could help on the BH Platinum, hear good stuff on it, but not had any hands-on with the model. First Texas makes Fisher, Teknetics, Bounty Hunter and even some night vision optics from what I understand. I am using a Teknetics G2, and just decided to drop the hammer and get Teknetics T2 today. Though limited, my experience with warranty work from them was top notch. Hope to see lots of finds posted by you in the near future.
