Just floating down the river and something catches my eye, not the gator. Old timber, so I start fanning and more fanning, it's old wood. Start pulling out rusted square nails, metal, and then I see copper. Copper piece with copper rivets (need ID help on that), then three corroded coins, and a copper piece I originally thought was a washer. Burnham Gum Machine Works 2156 Washington Blvd Chicago. And a sweet St. Louis XXX brick, same spot. This is the fourth brick from St. Louis I have found in Michigan all different and within a hundred yards from each other. Also found one that said "Novelty Block". All and all it was a good day.
