Got a chance to go detecting in one of my favorite spots and took Ken (t-netter screwynewy) and what a difference today was compared to the other hunt. The ground was plenty wet from last nights rain and as we crept along a button appeared, a piece of ornate buckle, an arrowhead, and then another, then a skinning tool then a big coin from 1800's (looks like its Italian) then a door knob or drawer pull from the Victorian era and lastly a thimble. Ground gave up some nice stuff to Ken as well and I posted his pics as well. Great hunt, great day and great time with a new friend!

Had a great time detecting with you and appreciate you sharing your sites with me. You had a great day overall between the colonial relics and the Indian points. I'm not sure but I think the large copper is a French coin - Napoleon 10 Centime from the mid- 1800's. Check it out here: 1852-1870 - Napoléon III France coins grouped by similar design and value - The Coin Database.

I hope to get back out with you soon to see what else we can find. Congrats on the upcoming wedding and enjoy the honeymoon.
