New Finds From 2/27/09

[The Grim Reaper]

I haven't been finding much lately even though I've been hunting a few times in the past couple of weeks and I still didn't find much. I hit two fields, the first one being the one I thought I had exclusive rights to but it was tracked all over with footprints so someone else is hunting it. I didn't find a thing there but a few pieces of flint and one small Preform. The small white Preform in the middle is from the first field and the others are from the second one.

The second field wasn't much better, but I did find two large Scrapers and two points, a small Stemmed Point and a Side Notch with the tip missing that would have been a nice one. It has a Hardaway look to it.

At least I was able to get out for a little bit and it is better than a poke in the eye. lol

That's a pretty good day imo, pretty far north for a hardaway, sure looks like one though.

I wish i could go hunting with you guys, I could do with a rest from the Ol' Rhyolite
Aint found much here either lately. My first whole Stanly is all. But after this rain all day, I'm sure I'll be finding lots more..
