That is pretty cool.A lot of the early mining camps had different names during there first months and where denied that name by the US post office and changed to there current names.Thanks!

Great tip. I picked up one of these direct from Grubstake today. Very nice people. Real nice map. I really wish I had a giant scanner to digitze it because it would make the names easier to pick out. It is a little hard to read but still a pretty amazing find.

Cool. Had to blow it up to look at it. The ghost towns and mining camps here in Summit County are very well documented, so no surprises in that area, but some interesting things elsewhere in the state.
