This is my first post, and of course my first attempt at a picture. I'm retired, been detecting off and on for over 30 years. I go back far enough that the Forest Service would draw you a map of the best places to find stone age points. In those days we called everything "arrow heads." Now I've got to go out and metal detect up some stuff that is worth posting.

Ahh, the good ole days. How I yearn for the days of yesteryear. But alas, they are to be no more. Society has grown too large for the common man. And now we must be thankful for any small spot of land or beach we are allowed to swing our coils on.

Welcome to TNET, don't mind my ramblings I get that way every now and then. Looking forward to your posts.
