New guy with a possible meteorite

This is my first posting. I’m hopeful someone might help me to confirm this “rock” is or isn’t a meteorite. It is quite heavy at around 24 pounds and a magnet sticks to it. It was inherited.

I'm not saying it's not a meteorite, but it does have features that remind me of basalt.
Specifically, in picture 2, on the far left side, it looks like it has ropes like Pāhoehoe lava
