Just wanted to say hi from Chesaning. I have wanted to take up this hobby for years, however, life gets in the way sometimes. One day I brought up this hobby that I always wanted to do while talking to my girlfriend, two months latter on christmas she gave me a Bounty Hunter Quickdraw 2.

I am not to familiar with this make or model. A few of my friends and family have Garrett's and I have used (very limited use i should say) those before. I am looking forward to learning about the Bounty Hunter.

I am hoping to find items that I can donate to our historical society, as well as start my own collection to pass along to my kids.

Welcome. Keep your loop close to the ground and happy hunting.

Welcome from Birmingham, Alabama and happy hunting to you. Be sure to share your cool finds as well as the things that you learn.

Keep the coil to the soil and welcome to the forum! Do your research on where the old locations are( the oldest baseball field is, the oldest church, the oldest school is ) and detect there. Good luck and happy hunting.

Hi I have done some detecting in Chesaning. Have hunted Big Rock and Showboat. Nothing spectacular yet but I am sure the good stuff is out their somewhere. Good luck.

Just wanted to add that you should invest in a pinpointer to speed up your recovery time. You can get a Cen-Tech pinpointer at Harbor Fright for $15-$20 bucks.
