What a great way to spend an afternoon and if I'm not careful, a whole day! Went to my new casino downtown today and tried to drain the silver from their half dollar machines. Went thru $800 worth and came away with a 1964, 1967 and five 1969-D.

It's a little tough to be inconspicuous when you're shoving in $100 bills and just hitting "cash out" without doing any gambling. I did find out that the plastic bag refills are $500 worth every time a machine runs out, so after every fill I'm good for another few hundred before it runs out again.
I took a break to get some lunch and when I came back two old ladies were playing my machines. I wanted to say "Hit the road, grannies, you're on my turf!" but I composed myself and went to another bank of machines. I gotta pace myself!
