Hello TNet guys and gals,

Im newly signed up after lurking for a few months. I started detecting this year about mid August. Im swinging an AT Pro in Pro All Metal and I feel I have done fairly well so far. Due to snow and frozen ground I ended the season around the 12th of this month with an 1843 LC bringing my total to 5 LCs. My favorite coin of the year was an 1857 FE and my favorite relic was a 1865 Lincoln/Johnson ferrotype. Digging relics is just as enjoyable for me as coins.

Im looking forward to spring already like the rest of you guys who live in northern states. Spring also brings club hunts which ill be attending my first one at that time.

I like sharing photos of my finds so you guys can look forward to that. Ill also be taking and editing video for those of you who enjoy that too.

This is a nice place with knowledgeable folks so I think I'll be here awhile.

Happy New Year to everyone.

Welcome from Louisiana!!! Keep swinging and never give up.

Welcome from NE Ohio.

Welcome from Colorado. I lived in NH as a kid and can't wait to go back. There was a swimming hole near Contoocook, near an old hotel. I would love to get back there.

Contoocook you say ? I lived there for 32 years. Best day I ever had detecting was right next to the ticket window behind the old railroad depot in the center of town. 5 Indian head cents and a Canadian quarter from the 1800s.. Trying to place the old hotel you referenced ?

Welcome from NYC.
The AT PRO is an excellent machine,
Winter in the N/E will allow you to replenish some historic hunting spots for the Spring Season.
We love pictures.

Welcome to the forum from Massachusetts!

2 of my favorite places in Central NH to poke around.. Both public property. I have made recoveries from both locations when I lived in Contoocook. Now that I'm in Tennessee I'm passing them along to whoever in the area might be interested. The Bradford Mineral Springs Hotel. Near the old Bradford Center which is no longer the center of town.. The Bradford Mineral Spring House | Muster Field Farm And Old Hill Village. The entire town was moved when the Franklin Falls Dam was built in the 40s. Very good things recovered from this Army Corps of Engineers managed property but be aware it is extremely tick infested in the warmer months. Hill Village NH: Relocating An Entire Town of Hill Village New Hampshire Happy New Year and happy hunting

Welcome from Knotts Island NC I have an AT also. I usually give the land owners anything I find so I have nothing to share in photos; but that's okay, I'd rather look at yours, NICE!!

Welcome to TNET!
