Detector(s) used
Minelab E-Trac. Ex2. X-Terra. Garret pro pointer. Fisher Headphones, Whites headphones.
Primary Interest:
All Treasure Hunting

Made a new hunting buddy. His name is Noah. Real nice guy. And is new to the hobby. And on the same page as Holly and I. None of the gloating, greedy selfish BS that some detectorists have. Just wants to hunt. And have fun. So, we went out on a hunt to get to know him. On 9-24-10. We did more jabbering than hunting probably. But it was fun. we did find some silver. Couple rings. And Noah shared a Seated Liberty Quarter that he got in change at Burrito Boy. Talk about a lucky score in change.
The mexicans that own that place probably thought nothing of it. The junky or idiot that spent it. Well. Please spend some more!
Anyway here is a video of Last nights hunt. We went back out. And found Noah his first silver Dime. It was a great night of hunting. had a blast. There is also a clip from 9-22-10 in the first minute of the video. Since I had nowhere else to put it.
Anyway. Will be Hunting with Noah again soon. And making -fingers crossed- some good finds.
Anyway. my first target was a 1920 D mint Merc Dime, in pretty good shape. I also dug a Silver D 60 Rosie. A 2 cent Australian coin. Wheats. A gold plated dog tag. And old toy car. And clad. The picture below is my wheats and silvers uncleaned.
All the cleaned up pics are posted here. Along with more stuff found.

But, the video shows most of it. There is some extra stuff on the page though.
Alright everyone. HH Best of luck.
Cheers
-Ryan

Hunting at night has huge benefits over day hunting. But I would not go at it alone in a big city. A group is the best to go out with. I just head out right at sunset. And start then. After everyone is home from work. The traffic sound dies way down. And you can hear your targets very good.
People are always nice. And some invite you to hunt their property. But thats the town I live in. Its pretty safe. And there are plenty of cops out and about who keep everything pretty safe. They always shine their lights and us. And wave.
