...for a hurricane ravaged tree.
for weeks I passed this location in Mexico Beach, Fla. restoring telecommunications up and down the neighborhood after Hurricane Michael in 2018. then one day the top of this broken pine was removed, a scaffold placed, and just TWO days later this mermaid emerged.
It was a real bright spot in a small town nearly totally devastated.
