Hunted two areas in San Francisco today. The first spot was a 1920's elementary school. Dug up quite a bit of clad at the school, over $7.00. Also dug up 3 wheat pennies there. After working the school I headed over to a medium strip that was about 20 feet wide and about 300 feet long. Did much better there. Dug up 4 wheat pennies and 3 silver coins. the oldest was 1929! I drove by this medium strip at least 50 times while going to hunt other parks in the city. Glad I finally stopped and hunted what turned out to be a pretty good spot! 62 degrees in the city made for a very comfortable day in which to hunt!
