New Member - Antique Cameo Find

Hello everyone

This is my first post and I sure get inspired reading about all your finds !

I am from Saskatchewan, Canada and am new to detecting. While visiting a friend in Arizona this weekend (Jan 28) we found this antique cameo along a dry riverbed. under several inches of rock and sand. It has a cameo center surrounded by full cut gems of some type. The piece is quite heavy and has not been cleaned except for brushing off the excess sand and dirt.

If anyone can tell us anything about this pendent or have any comments it would certainly be appreciated !
