New Member from NJ.

Hello all my name is Steve i am just getting into Metal Detecting. My Brother has a White XLT and wants to give it to me since he does not use it. So my question is, is that a good Detector?
And is there anyone else in Central NJ that i can team up with or learn from.
How a out a Club is the Asbury Park are also?

From what I've read, the White MXT is still a very respectable machine. As there are many people that will try MDing but choose not to stick with it, I'd say try that White's and see how you like it. You can always choose to upgrade later.

If your brother is giving you the machine for free,, well then I would say it is an EXCELLENT machine!
