[Lost In CA]

Hello from California.

I recently purchased a metal detector, pinpointer, and misc other stuff. Still learning how to use it all. Have only found some modern coins so far and misc. unidentifiable broken bits of metal that look old (along with the inevitable bottle caps and trash).

I think I will have better luck at the beaches. Hope to find some old coins and rings.

Speaking of rings, I lost my wedding ring about 30 years ago while backpacking in the mountains. Maybe some day I'll go back and hunt for it with my detector.
