New member in South Carolina

hey everyone, novice detectorist with my first machine. Looking for others, offering tips and tricks from experience or fellow novices to go out on the hunt. On my first time out to the beach ( two weeks ago ) I hit several targets in the first 30 minutes, most of it bottle caps, but I did find two 925 silver rings about 4 feet apart! Both have stones in them but I do not know if they are real, as I haven't had them looked at yet. Needless to say, I was very stoked! Haven't found much other than bottle caps, pull tabs, 9 pennies (all '94 and later) and one thin dime, in the 4 other trips I've made to the beach, but I'm still learning and still swinging optimistically.
