Looks like a big yawn if you're already using a good VLF nugget hunter. :skullflag:

For as much as I love acquiring new toys, I'm not the least bit excited about this one.

I am satisfied with coin hunting with my etrac. I have confidence that if its in the ground, and my coil goes over it, I will find it. It would have to take a big step forward in technology for me to upgrade.

It is a high freq gold detector.

Fort Bedfort, are you gong to be taking pre-orders?
I heard that is replacing the eureka gold, so is it going to have three frequency? O something like that?
Do you know or have more specs?
Is the x-terra going to continue?

Any Idea as to when this might hit the market place and what frequency it will run at, also what the price might be when it does hit the market
Been looking at maybe purchasing the Macro Gold which is 56KHz have heard a lot of good things about the Macro Gold, but I may have to hold off till this new Mine Lab hits the market.

Minero -

I will be taking a list of pre-orders, but unfortunately will not be able to sell to you in Mexico.. but I can put you in touch with someone that will be able to help you. :)

You are correct, this new machine will supersede the Eureka Gold which is now discontinued. The X-Terra however will continue to be produced from what I am told about the situation.

As for your other questions, I do know the answers but since they have yet to be released I unfortunately have to hold off on answering those, sorry.

oldkoot - All I can say is it will not be long.... and the frequency is high. I do have a little bit on a page I started on our website that may answer some other questions. Sorry to be so vague, just trying to comply with the Non-Disclosure agreement I signed when I saw it in person. :)

Are there any of these being tested here in the US.

Decisions, decisions to wait or not to wait I really love my 705 but have been looking for a high frequency detector, was just about ready to pull the trigger on the Macro Gold Racer and now this new Mine Lab getting ready to come out, enough to make you want to pull your hair out LOL

Now what do I do ? No one here in the US testing so how is one to decide to take a chance or not are there any African testers that might be giving a review,or where ever they were released first

Here is the machine (71kHz) that has found as much gold in Arizona, California, Alaska, Idaho, Nevada, and Washington as any other:

Those Gold Bug IIs are regarded as one of the best VLFs on tiny gold, it will be interesting to see how this new Minelab compares when someone gets them beside each other.
