New objects on the pasture...

A few kilometers from the areas where we detected several times , we found several high areas where would be signs of human activity since ancient antiquity to the Middle Ages.First came a bronze buckle with iron needle specific of harness to the Roman Empire , then a grosch copper coin from 1765 , an arrowhead type rarely "forked arrow" from the early Middle Ages but also an another good preserved iron arrowhead...

I have just begun working on updating the website of an American charity that runs an orphanage and medical clinics in Hunedoara, Romania (ICAFKids.org) and have really begun to appreciate the people and the history. Are you near Hunedoara?

I am from Harghita county , Toplita city (east part of province of Transilvania - nord part of Romania) and detection make them mostly in the neighboring county of the Mures , where are still traces of the Roman Empire that attracted me...

How neat ! All of our arrowheads are rocks.... I often wish I could invent an arrowhead detector...Or I move to Romania, and use the old Ace !
