New Old Excal Scores #2 Rings. Etrac goes capooey!

I took the old blue sword excal to the beach this AM and the new battery did great. I scored a Tungsten ring and another cheap kids ring plus an ear ring. My night hunt was a bust. Took the etrac to hunt the white sand and about two miles down the beach the sound goes out. Could be my headphones but can't tell since my speaker went out a year ago.
