Recently I spotted the remains of a farmhouse on one of my hog hunting properties! Naturally I was excited when I was given permission to detect it. It was a beautiful day, and it was fun to get out...but the hunt was a letdown! The house wasn't all that old, and while the site wasn't terribly junky, I only ended up with 5 Lincoln pennies and some copper pipe fittings! It looked like the house was from the 70's and had burned down. I guess I shouldn't get so wound up about these new places but...

Oh well, on to the next one! BTW-I'm always looking for friends to detect with. I usually hunt during the week but weekends are ok most times.

Hey, you tried. If you hadn't all those Morgan dollars you just knew were there would have kept you up at night.

Those Morgans are hiding at the next house...
