Today's diggings included an 1890's farm site producing a well-worn 1898 Indian Head penny and a pistol ball. Drove up the road to a newer public park site which was formerly a cattle ranch. The tot lot and basketball areas produced a 1984 Hot Wheel Nissan 300ZX, a set of costume jewelry earrings, a fake gold pendant, and a stainless steel man's ring with the Lord's Prayer embossed on it. The back acreage of the park hid a spot where multiple target signals peaked my curiosity. I tuned up the ATPro and swept low and slow. Among the iron signals were the brass shoe toe protector, a small brass buckle (prong swivel freely moves,) an 1886 Indian Head penny, and a couple of pieces of melted copper. No modern trash or metals in the area, all appears to be late 1800's! I plan on revisiting the patch soon. Thanks for looking, happy hunting. Sub
