New park

Hit a new park on the way to lake Isabella . Found 34 cents dates ranging all 1970's, nickel dime and pennies. Lots of trash in the ground and also dog droppings galore in the grass. Enjoy the pics.

The park is very old. It is called Scodie park after its town called Scodie later named Onyx, California .

The place was originally called Scodie in honor of William Scodie, who opened a store in 1861.[3] The first post office at Onyx opened in 1889.[3]
