I've been wanting a PI detector for my semi annual visits to Marco Island for some time.

I love my ACE 200 and ATPro and I decided to stick with Garrett and picked up the Sea Hunter II.

Took awhile to get the hang of it but it started producing on the second hunt. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1448492479.534895.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1448492509.217970.webpImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1448492536.418135.webp

Found this 10g 14k ring in the break zone.

Thanks for looking.

You crushed it brother!
Go get some more!

Very nice! Love the face! Lol. Was that with the 8" stock coil? How deep? How does the Sea hunter handle in the surf?

That's a beauty and a chunk too...congrats...that's how my face looks every time I see gold...it never gets old.

WTG!! That's a beaut. Did you have any trouble recovering the target? What scoop did you use?

Sweet Gold - Congratulations! :occasion14:

Awesome gold ring! TFS and HH

Lucky! I have yet to produce gold on Marco Island. I have found countless silver, but still no gold on those beautiful beaches. Congratulations on the gold! Maybe we will be there at the same time some year.

I've done well on Marco Island in the past. Good for you, keep it up and you should pull some more up.
How's the wind over there? We're getting blowed away over here, 20-35mph last day or 2, coming straight off the ocean.
If you thinking of headed this way, I'd say don't, unless you need dermabrasion and sandblasting.
I got some friends with places over there, I love Marco Island!

Yes, I was using the stock coil. Can I attach the AT Pro coil to the Sea Hunter?

The ring was pretty close to the surface. Only about 2-3inches down.

It's seem to work just fine in the surf. However, it seems to always hum/buzz when I swing one direction but not the other. I don't know what's that's about but it is frustrating. It probably has to do with the threshold adjustments but I haven't figured out how to eliminate it yet.

No you can't put the AT pro coils on the Sea Hunter. I've read of guys talking about that buzz as your swinging one way. Put it in discreet mode and zero discrimination. By putting it in discreet mode with zero discrim you are still hunting wide open, only now I've heard it will run more smooth and calmer on discreet setting.

Congratulations on that beautiful gold ring band :headbang:; I love the style!

I wish you more of the same
