The 5s were the hot rods. Most around here were 3.5. :laughing7:

I have to dig up pics of my Manco mini chopper now, restored it about 5-6 years ago. :icon_thumright:

cool TC, I've got an engine just like that on my edger. lots of power, been using it for about 3 yrs, no problems yet

those 6.5's are pretty awesome.

the only thing I don't like about that motor is, they could have put a better gas cap on it

Thats for sure, most folks using this motor are replacing the tank and the exhaust.

I haven't had a problem with the exhaust, what's been happening?

they put a header on to pipe it out of the frame, and give it more power. Theres actually alot of modifications for this engine.

You did it didn't you? Good job Albert! It brings back memories of me and my dad's project many moons ago.

Memories Keith will never forget.

Nice mini bikes? I used to dream for one every xmas when I was a kid. They were a thrill to ride. I had a little Briggs 5 hp and I used to ride that thing all over. The spark plugs and clutches kept me busy. Having no money for gas did too :laughing7:

Restored Manco Stars-N-Stripes Mini Chopper. It isn't exact, as things such as the engine were missing. :laughing9: The original seat was gone also but I had my brother's Manco Trailcat Mini Chopper around to use as a template. Came out pretty nice I thought. ;D

The other bike is one my, at the time, 4.5 year old Godson helped design and build. He picked out the parts he wanted and I bought those. His dad bought the power plant. It was designed to have "training" wheels attached as seen in the pic. Those came off pretty quick.

Edit to add: before pic. This photo was from the auction when I first found the bike. ::)
