New safari

Just got a new safari. I have been using an excalibur II for the past year and a half and am very comfortable with it. The safari, not so much. Could use a little encouragement and know how please. Thanks.

I've had mine for over a year now and absolutely love it. I just upgraded to the 13" ultimate coil. Just go hunt with it pretty simple machine to use IMO. If u already had a minelab u will have no problem with this. Good luck and have fun!

Thanks for getting back with me. I guess I am looking for some settings to use. I will be trying to get the book, everybody recommends. My first attempts seem to be confusing because most everything in the higher ranges sound the same. I guess I need practice.

I am still running mine on the factory setting. I feel I have still have much tk learn b4 I start tweekin settings. Good luck kn the safari book by andy sabisch. It is out of print ans very hard to find.
